Hi, i'm actually that guy, who made AYpod =) And i have the idea of making Еnglish subtitles cause it's not just an ordinary playlisted track-pack, the accent is made on the text information. So, the subtitles for the 6th issue of AYpod are ready. If you are interested in them (and in the instructions how to play them synqronously on PC or Nexx MP3 player), please, mail me or just ICQ: one689seven869seven. ^_^ tnx for promoting =) |

I've also tried once to create a lyrics file for a song in the format of my mp3 player. But I have never thought of it could be used for podcasting. Gratz!

Well, the fact is, actually, you know, "AYpod" is first subtitled podcast ever =) "Antique toY" podcast: http://rpod.ru/personal/storage/00/00/00/09/82/AYpod_06.mp3 For now I know 3 possibilities to play subtitled podcast: 1) Hardware MP3 Player "Nexx", it supports .lrc files (lyrics). But because of it's small screen phrases sliced a bit. You should place both .mp3 and .lrc files to the same directory, both named equally (except extension). 2) KaraFun-player. Actually, this player is for karaoke, so it is not very comfortable to play subtitled podcasts there. But you can tune it (make your own "theme" and connect up by pressing CTRL+I, or you can switch on the "study мode" (Press "T")). This player supports both .lrc (lyrics) and .srt (subtitle format widely used for movie subtitleing). It's better to play .srt file. You should place both .mp3 and .srt (or .lrc) files to the same directory, both named equally (except extension). Where to get: http://www.karafun.com/karaokeplayer/ - it's free. 3) Light Alloy player. The best way. It's the video player at first, and supporst a lot of subtitle formats perfectly. But you can open an .mp3 file, and then, press the 5-th button from the left (at bottom) - it called "subtitle tuning" or something like that. Then stretch the Light Alloy window as wide as you need for comfortable subtitle reading. It's better to place both .mp3 and .srt (or .lrc) files to the same directory, both named equally (except extension), but you can connect any subtitle file to any media file. Where to get: http://softella.com/index.en.htm - it's free for russian-language users, but trial version is good enough. Subtitles: -English- http://media.site-m.ru/aypod/sub/en/AYpod_06.srt - version for PC (KaraFun/Light Alloy). http://media.site-m.ru/aypod/sub/en/AYpod_06.lrc - version for Nexx Mp3-player (phrases sliced because of small screen). -Russian- http://media.site-m.ru/aypod/sub/ru/AYpod_06.srt - version for PC (KaraFun/Light Alloy). This instrustion: http://media.site-m.ru/aypod/sub/en/instruction.txt |
