The 4th iteration of Demosplash will take place October 3rd and 4th. Highlights for this year include":" - A keynote presentation by musician Diode Milliampere. In addition, admission to his Saturday performance at the VIA festival is included with a Demosplash registration. - Sceners as art preservationists‽ We'll look into how CMUCC's retro expertise led to the recovery of some previously lost artworks by Andy Warhol. - We will be holding the party in a new location. We will still be at Carnegie Mellon University, but we will in the College of Fine Arts building, using the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry as our main room. We're looking forward to a better sound system, and hope the space will be more conducive for meeting up with other sceners and enjoying demos. And, as always, we'll be playing favorite demos on real hardware throughout the party. Because demos are better without MPEG artifacts =-). Bring your prods, and let's make Demosplash 2014 the best yet!
