The Scene Today

TO WHAT THE SCENE WENT TO! (Hellraiser/Defcon 1)

Hi Folx! This is Hellraiser of Defcon One writing an article about the Amiga in the earlier years and today. Surely all guys who have their Amiga 2 or more years know the good old Amiga times. There were only a few groups on this machine. Some like: Bamiga Sector One & The Kent Team, Red Sector Inc., Hotline, HQC etc. Of course there were also some unknown freaks. These guys mostly played games and they weren't able or couldn't do some action with their computer. As they got bored by playing almost the same games, they put their money together and went into their local software shop. As they saw the high prices of the computer programms they run out with a heart attack and breathing for fresh air. Because of not enough money they got the idea to swap with some of their friends in town or outside. They all knowed themselfes and had a very hot and cool time on this machine. Suddenly the Amiga got famous and more and more freaks sold their old computers to buy a new one. This was the point where the real Amiga scene was born. There also came some cracker and demo groups wich released some cool warez. And again more and more people bought an Amiga and the men wanted to get an image as like the cracker and demo crews. They said that if they had the newest and best stuff they would get a better and higher image. So, these guys only wanted to be the fastest and bought cracks from the cracker groups. The friendship was lost. The swappers only wrote small and short letters, coz they hadn't got time. They all wanted to be the fastest. The first wars between some groups appeared and the scene was growing and growing. Big groups sold their releases to the stupid lamers who used their whole money to buy some games. Now we are at the same point. The most groups only know one word. This word is 'BUSINESS'. The groups sometimes relase 5 different cracks and only one of them is working 100 percent! There are also some new things, like the modems. Every third (ex)-mailtraider is buying his own modem to get the stuff as fast as possible. I have nothing against fast imports, but I will ask ya know: 'Where the hell is the friendship ?'. The small groups put rumours about the famous groups in the world. Only because they hadn't had the success. I hope that ya guys outthere will think about the text. We have to do anything against those guys who destroy the scene. And please remember that it's so stupid to try to make 'PEACE' with a 'WAR'! Quality before quantity!
