Survey of Saga Musix
Job: musician

Survey submitted: Thu 18 Oct 2007 - 12:11:59

Handle, ex-handle(s):
Saga Musix, Jojo

Name, birthday, origin:
Johannes Schultz, 1990-01-03, Germany

Group, ex-group(s):
Gravity

What was your first group, your role in that group and what did that group produce?:
Gravity, as a musician

What motivates you to spend time on the scene?:
Nice people with similar thoughts, it's a platform to release free stuff

What is your favorite color?:
Uuuh... Hard question Blue...maybe

On what platform(s) did you begin your computing journey, and when was this?:
I started playing DOS games on a 386 when I was 5 (1995).

What platform(s) do you use now?:
Windows XP for the most stuff, Windows 98 for oldschool stuff

What is/are your favorite piece(s) of music(s) - from a demo production or a scener (released outside of a demo)?:
That's a really hard question... I really admire "synthetic bitch" by Martyn at the moment, but the best tune ever is "Dead Lock" by Elwood

What is/are your favorite picture(s) - from a demo production or a scener(released outside of a demo)?:
I'm not interested in pictures ;-P

What music program are you using the most to express yourself? Why?:
OpenMPT, coz it's the only one I like ^-^ It's a really nice tracker, I also like the raw Windows surface more than those FT2-alike trackers...

Which composer, artist or group of the real life did inspire you most?:
I really don't know exactly, probably coz there are too many.

Do you play any instrument? Which?:
Piano, Synthesizer

Which project that you worked on was the most exciting and interesting for you? And why?:
I think there are several... "Unreal Scene" was my second ambient tune and I worked more than a year on it... It takes you on a really nice trip through the rain forest, try it! "Digital Loop" was also very exciting, it was my first tune made with OpenMPT and VST technlogy.

What is your favorite demo, intro, megademo, retrogame, slideshow, musicdisk, diskmag, wilddemo?:
I don't have real favourties here... To name a few demos and 64ks : Debris, Second Reality, The Popular Demo, STS-02, Blockbuster, Platinum

Which parties do you intend to go to, and which parties would you like to go to? Please describe your personal experiences with your most favourite or impressive party you have ever been at.:
Maybe I'll be at breakpoint next year...

How did the scene alter since you are taking an active part in it? Can you explain why?:
Too short period

Finally, do you have some special greetings? Feel free to add links to your graphics, screenshots of effects, modules or other pieces of your work.:
