The French Scene

Well, since the cops are very active, here, in France, a lot of groups gave up or changed their name. The cops interrupted a copy party in France during this summer (the Zigag party). So the scene changed, groups like CBC stopped all activities or are now in Europe (some of 'em were also Aces members Brainstormers (Not Brainstorm ! It's not the same group!!) is now called Alien. CPU members formed up Apology with some Overgrowth members.

But more recently, great events took place in France. Avenger France died a few weeks ago. Phoenix is dead, too ! (Because French softwares houses threaten them..). So there are only some groups alive in France... like: Impact Inc. (Very active swappers), Brain Wave (Hehe, they will soon release a megademo and even a great game! So look out for the French coding power !), Iris (soon a megademo with a ray-tracing part !), Diabolics, Demons, Fusion and other groups which are not worth mentionning here, perhaps DMACon which is growing up.

An independent guy is coding world-famous demos, his name: Digital Wizard. Yes, he is french ! Wild Copper are getting a bit out of the business (Well, out of the coding business of course !).

Well, I think I made a fast but complete tour of the french scene. OOooopsss I forgot to tell you that the ex-founder of Megaforce (Yes, he was french ! And he still is!!) joined Quicksilver. The Ackerlight team made up a software houses. They'll soon release a game called Wings Of Glory. With an H.Syl protection (A member of Ackerlight told me it would be very hard to crack !...). OK that's all for now. More news about the french scene soon...bye !

PS: Message to all party-line freax and phreakers: If some french guyz tell ya bullshit about the French groups. Don't believe them, they are jealous laaamers! Fire'em out!
