The Finnish Scene (2)

Well, folks..., I'm afraid that I'm going to bring you another scene report... And this time we are talking about Finnish scene...(if not interested then ya can just skip this article, ok???)

I guarantee you that I'm going to tell every fact neutrally without any mockings against our competitors here in Finland. And as we have now gone through all necessary formalities, I can at last start typing the real story.....

Yep, Finnish Scene has gone through an remarkable revolution lately. Unique was born almost half a year ago, Deathstar died, Animate was born in autumn and many other big things have been shaking the whole Finland. I think the new generation of Amiga groups is taking over from the old ones.. But who are these newcomers? Well.., I can tell you that there are many so-called Underground-groups (I mean those groups which aren't very well known) Some of them will die, some of them will maybe challenge the big groups in Finland. The only bad thing in this small groups is that most of those groups think that they are really cool...

I won't praise my own group, because I think it's lamish! I let the other people say their opinions about us. Here are some Finnish newcomer-groups: Amigaze-Team, Fiwe, Amaze, etc.,etc. In the future we can see if some of these groups come up to elite standards. The most active ones are at the moment: Unique, Complex, Cave, Animate, Exodus..,(Guess that was all??) We (Unique) are now working on a new 3D demo, which is going to be better than any of our earlier productions. By that time you read this, it's hopefully finished. We have also some new members.., 2 programmers. The other one is working on a game at the moment. Complex is also working on a 3D demo, and I don't know when it's going to be released. The competition gets harder all the time! I don't know anything new about Animate.., except that they are spreading bullshit about us.., I wonder what they are going to try to do us next time, well we'll do the same to them.

About Exodus..., they have an own BBS here in Finland, and they have released some demos lately. We'll see what they are going to do next! The biggest scandal in Finnish scene lately has been Dr.DMA's source-code stealing from Complex.., Animate used this ripped bob-routine in their first demo.. I hope that won't happen again. There haven't been many copy- parties around here for a while. The last remarkable copy- party was in Hollola held by Gate.., but there wasn't many guys at the place. And another sad rumour I heard some time ago: Byterapers cancelled their Xmas Party! (Well, It's just a rumour! So don't blame me!) Yep, I guess you read enough this crap..., Watch out for new productions coming soon...

Stay Cool Forever!
