Happy birthday to all of us.
We would like to thank everyone who has been active and posted in the forum and chatted through late nights and early mornings in our irc channel. Without you all this community is nothing.
Let's celebrate with some BitBrew! The coming year will surely also see a lot of new things. Stay tuned for more!

While I'm still not sure what happened to the official site of Sergey Bulba it seems that he's continuing work on his various projects. Indeed, there's just been a new release of Vortex Tracker II, as found over at Virtual TR-DOS. This release brings it up to the 15th beta release of v1.0 (hence "v1.0 b15" as the version number - duh!). Read on for the details of what's changed in the tracker.

Dascon releases his AMIGA lifetime achievement.
Dascon / Ex-Essence member and german scene musician from 1991 to 2001 just launched a website where you can find several of his modules in both mp3 and mod format. There´s some unreleased stuff to be found aswell, so give it a try at http://dascon.de.vu and come back from time to time as the page is going to grow steadily... and, YES, the page design sucks, but it´s not about style, it´s all about the content to be found there.

A Linux software for playing YM music files of the Atari ST etc. developed by Grzegorz Stanczyk. It's based on ST-Sound. Since v0.21 is fully compatibile with 64-bit GNU/Linux architecture (confirmed on RHEL4 U4 x86_64). Some people has reported STYMulator to be working on Linux/PPC.
