You can see who's on and what those persons are doing and u can send them a popup MSG, kinda like the good olm "send msg to user" on BBS'es... Other good stuff are: u could add polls, post msg preview which let's you see the msg in realtime while you type it, you can see who's browsing the same category as you, etc.., etc... lotsa new features and new design.
This also means that since the 23.08.2006 they closed this board down and put up the new forum and integrate it with their main page at http://thuglife.org/. And then they'll just wait for people to release ascii and other scene materials... enjoy Grin.

For nearly two decades, computer-based Bulletin Board Systems were the primary method of communication between computer users. As suddenly as they gained popularity, they were made obsolete by the next big thing - a newfangled system called the Internet. Commodork: Sordid Tales from a BBS Junkie takes its readers on an exciting journey through the BBS era. Through the author's personal tales and adventures, readers will discover more about these amazing times and what it was like to grow up online. With tales of copyfests, BBS parties and random acts of online debauchery, those who were there will find themselves reminiscing, while those who weren't will enjoy learning about life "before the 'net." You know, back when we used to modem uphill, both ways in the snow.

On music and graphics, we have DiHalt 2006. On screenshots, we have Equinox (who's done the honours for Jacek Michalak, Lodz City coders and some Gasman bloke). And finally we have Mitchell and D-Jooz on soundtracks that have been sitting in my inbox for well over a year (eek).
More to come shortly (yep, I've done the backlog-too-big-to-get-through-in-one-sitting thing again).
