X2006 Party Update
The X2006 party is coming nearer and nearer.

If you haven’t checked the site (in a while) this might be a good time to visit it.
There’s a FAQ, read about the competions (we have a Wild/DTV compo too) and you might want to join Mr. Ammo’s + CBA’s traintrip from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to the partyplace.

The X2006 site:
http://www.scs-trc.net/x2006/

See you on the 13th till 15th of October!

X2006 is brought to you by SCS*TRC, Xenon and Silicon Ltd.

X-2006 coming soon
X-2006, one of the biggest Commodore 64 scene parties in the Netherlands, will be held during Oct.13th~15th. Jeroen Tel of Maniacs of Noise performs the live act this year, and the annual "sid dancing" and music competition are also featured. Here're the rules of the compo:
A choice can be made between a C64 with OLD or NEW sid
meaning to say both will be present.
Your entry will be played for a total time of 3 minutes,
and no longer. Thus, if it's longer it will be cut off.

everything in its right place

Just our luck that the site should fall over just in the middle of party season, eh? Time to get back on track then. A marathon party-results-entering session brings us the lowdown on Antique Toy, DiHALT, Chaos Constructions and Sundown. Downloads (and the other non-party updates I need to catch up on) will follow, um, some time.

piggy tracker compo due oct. 13th
mp3death is hosting a compo for some prizes (monolith 1gb pmp, in-ear phones from sony, mystery 3rd place slot!).
the rules are to use piggy tracker (runs on win, gp2x, gp32) and keep the size under 1.4 megs (no problem for chippers)!
this tracker is a lot like LSDj and there is a quick_start_guide for the uninitiated.
