In a different time and age where things were read offline was this floppy disk-based magazine born out of southern Tasmania in the spring of 1990 and debuting in the autumn of 1991. Intensely spread mainly through mail swapping and bulletin boards, it had the capacity to summon the masses of the underground Commodore 64 scene and acted as a global platform for internal debate and communication. The world of cracking, hacking, phreaking and the different parts of demo scene production used Vandalism News as a podium for their subcultural journalism.
Three decades later, in a world where online doubtlessly has gained momentum on the physical, the first seventy issues transitions from 5.25" diskettes into cyberspace. Please indulge.
