Another interviewpartner.. again someone from the past.. and this time he`s owning the less spellable handle in the whole world. Read more about his own TRSI records, consuming much, much "red bull" and the latest news about the new founded TRSI-PC demosection organized by no one else then The Pride of ex-Stellar and ex-Talent.

Ghandy: Hy Uyanik! Hope you`re fine... be welcome to our "Hall of fame" rubric. Feel free to taste some soft drinks.. erm.. or did you forget to bring some brainboosting energy drink with you? (special austrian version.. I forgot the name ... erm.. how is it called exactly?)
Uyanik: It's called RED BULL...finest stuff around.....only the austrian version is the tough one......
Ghandy: Nobody can articulate your handle! UYANIK?? What is an uyanik?? (please explain) (maybe a figure of your own brain or from any adventures or so?!)
Uyanik: guess I know,hehe....don't want to explain it but it has a deep sense and meaning........it has to do with Navajo indian dialect....
Ghandy: Please tell us something about the austrian scene.. is there any?? (if yes it seems to be quite small)
Uyanik: you won't believe it but austria always had a small but very skilled scene.....todays austrian scene contains groups like TRSI (very long time already), Scoopex (austrian invention,Ranger, Trade, Antibyte - very appreciated coder), many of you remember J.O.E - famous Trsi/Scoopex graphician (moved to USA), Alcatraz (Quedex, Pigment, many games), Fairlight, Quartex, Fusion (C64 and Amiga), Energy, Savage, X-Trade and many more (like Legend C64), S!P (PC)..but most of the groups only contain few people so it's rather small....what else....seldom parties (exept the regular Trsi-Fairlight parties three times a year in Vienna), seldom lamers, seldom busts, seldom good releases....very positive are the talented people around, but most of them aren't really involved in what we call scene..
Ghandy: How did you get the idea of starting an own techno label? Why do you only publish techno/rave music?? (is there no audience for any different music?) [or maybe most amiga musicians can only produce techno-crap.. but that can`t be true!].....
Uyanik: well, in first case to make Trsi and Fairlight more popular also outside the demo/games scene and to show that there can be more than demos or simple demo-music.....maybe the main case is that there are some really kicking musicians on Amiga/Pc/C64/Snes so why not release there work on CD, in a high quality (studiowork, lots of effects to pump up and gain maximum sound quality out of a module).....so Trsi Recordz was a logical step...well Trsi Recordz is not a different group/sub-group of Trsi...it's just the music faktory of TRSI and Fairlight.... Basically it's Techno what we only release but in a big variety (ranging from Ambient/Funk, Jungle, Drum n'Base, Acid, House, Trance..blabla) it's simply the music we like and where we have a big audience outside the scene aswell....but we try other steps in the future too (like a planned Trip Hop/House Cd with various Amiga/PC musicians).....so all people can send me their music, no matter which style, no matter in which group you are... only quality counts... I guess about 80 % of amiga musicians producing techno related music are doing only crap..
Ghandy: Please introduce us in your CD productions? (Cyberlogic I+II, CNCD and the new ones)
Uyanik: Cyberlogik 1, Trance/Hardtrance style, design by 2-Sign/Fairlight, with music by Hi-Lite (scoopex, Trsi), dreamfish (DCS), Boosta (Session), Reanimator (trsi) and many more......limited edition..... CNCD - The Album by Carillion&Cyberiad....excellent Ambient/Funk style, feat. Heatbeat, Strobo, Dean, PrimeP, all graphics and sound engineering by CNCD...get it... Cyberlogik 2 - Trance/Jungle, 74mins, 16 pages special booklet, feat. Heatbeat, Chromag, High-Lite, Cortex, Scorpik, Archangel and more - mixed by CNCD coming up: Cyberlogik 3.11 (coming this X-mass in Denmark - better than everything before....no further details here..get suprised) Dr. Awesome debut on Trsi Recordz.....surprise! Angel Dust by Archangel (1997) other Cd releases (3 in progress) are secrets,hehehe and some more stuff like Video/Clip releases, new demo,CD-ROM Projects, some projects for Nintendo and some extravagant and nice Trsi clothing.....
Ghandy: Were you able to sell many CD`s? (who did buy the CD`s - sceners or members of the techno/rave scene, RavePartyVisitors etc.) [or you have sold most CD`s at the gathering after you have lowered the price?]
Uyanik: The sales are quite good - most buyers were scene people, techno/rave scene, record stores and others......Gathering was ok, but we didn't sell them expensive in Norway...we charged half price a Cd costs in shops in Norway.. It's more important to spread them as to gain more profit....
Ghandy: Were you able to establish yourself as a record-company? [As there are SO DEADLY MANY DIFFERENT KNOWN AND UNKNOWN TECHNO/RAVE LABELS]
Uyanik: I think so....Trsi Recordz is the leading record label in the scene... and we are already known round the world through the great work of our common distributors. (thanks to all of you)....so honestly we are well established...we are not a big company but we release great music and thats the fact.....reputation comes not by releasing low quality food..
Ghandy: Life is deadly expensive! Can you pay all costs from your profit? (heard you are also running a bbs-system.. that`s quite expensive, isn`t it?)
Uyanik: Yeah, life is always expensive....we don't get rich with this work, it's more the pleasure to do what you want....so releasing and dealing recordz is surely not the way to get a rich sucker (better play lotto), but our incomes are more from developing work/games..... hehe yes....my BBS is still online......ALICE in ACIDLAND is only for old friends and users....so no new accounts given...it's more a private system...but for information about Trsi, fairlight & Trsi Recordz do the way via World Wide Web and visit our homepages....
Ghandy: What are youre future plans for TRSI RECORDS? (who are your official suporters and how can they help you?)
Uyanik: ....to release more high quality musics but not too much releases, don't want to sweep you....more multimedia (haha what useless key word, and it's so popular) productions and distributing Cd's even in Afrika to spread this style and attitude ( lifestyle is majestic)....to term up all official supporters would bore you but thanks to all anyway, some important ones down below under the greets.....anyway a concret and planned future step of us is releasing TRSI clothing (t-shirts, jackets, trousers blabla) and selling them everywhere (again high quality, funky design for low prices)
Ghandy: Coming back to the Amiga scene - is "SUICIDE" - TRSI`s diskmag still alive? There were many, many different rumors concerning your mag, co-operations with Complex, Alcatraz, Magcode from Compass etc. etc. but until now.. nothing happened.. so what went wrong?
Uyanik: hehe..the right name is SUICID (written without any rotten e) and it's still alive....in the meantime I have three almost finsihed source codes but all coders weren't able to finish them properly..so as we always wanted to have a regular mag again there were several ideas and intentions to take over other projects or something else....I think the first one was Message Box co-operation with Mirage...I think it was definetely fixed but somehow it got never released, Maggy was or is a subject for 1 or 2 years now...but it takes always long times to finish extravagant projects...this one will never take place I guess...we had also the new finished version of Compass (a small note to 'you know whom I mean'...- compass is not your copyright..ask Chris who coded it,heheh) was in progress but was not released for same reasons (lazyness)..we still have this three projects in our eyes but not with very much energy...anyway through our intention to get a good mag for TRsi I got also very funny and stunning (hehe) offers...like Buzz (incl. a Trsi section with 6 new swappers) , some time ago I found the almost finished Propaganda mag on my BBS with a decent offer....I got offered the RAW code (guess I week ago),hehe can't say morewithout blaming some people..but it's very funny........ but Suicid is as it looks like released again...Nike does the code and he seems to be finished in some weeks....Shade main-ed, Louie some graphics and music by Fuzz...well let's wait if it gets released it would mame me really happy after such a long delay and many broken promises (Sanity?)
Ghandy: I heard there`s a new demo ready from TRSI Amiga.. tell me something about it please. Is it again a co-op with Alcatraz? (Hope you won`t include again any work from Bridgeclaw/Gods without asking him) hehe
Uyanik: yes it is.....TWIN PEAKS it kicks ass.....according to all who saw it so far it IS the best demo ever by TRSI......it will be released/or was (when you read this later) at Saturne 4....and it wins.....see and believe it's ready we just wait for the competition and there is another one, a lot of people know long awaited demo will finally come out ... last year at TP we missed to finish it (as Amiga technologies wanted us to have their 3 weeks Cyberlogik demo released,heheh) ....well concerning Bridgeclaw....I got the graphics when he was in Trsi, so also the permission to use it....we used it later when he already had left Trsi so what should be different?...
Ghandy: Are you still at war with Blitter??
Uyanik: have never been in war with him....we wrote some crap when we were younger....that's long time ago......
Ghandy: But it`s really nice, that TRSI is still living and prospering. (as the oldest group in the scene) Seems the illegal Amiga section is still bringing out some good major games from time to time. Who took over the organizing? Mario? Ecs? What`s up with Mcloud? Did you hear anything from him lately? (Or did you maybe hear any sign from the legends Knackosoft, Halligalli, J.Walker, RomeoKnight, Double-trouble, Mendoza, Cool-Cat or Irata??)
Uyanik: heheh won't state here any intern secrets,hehe just Mario is up and McLoud is past,hehe.....of course all old members are close together.. sometimes we don't see each other for quite long time but we have a good relationship together...just take a look when you meet Trsi members at parties,hehehehe....anyway most of them are still involved in Trsi in any form......
Ghandy: Pride/Ex-Stellar & Ex-Talent told me he is actually organizing a new TRSI PC demosection. Please tell us someting about that. Who`s going to join them? (maybe some people from the Amiga`s past?)
Uyanik: Trsi PC contains actually about 6 guys in the demo section.....we had the problem that Trsi PC was always a mess..I hope this will change now with pride....ask him for more details (if you want to read names - Archangel & Reanimator are 2 of them).
Ghandy: Please tell us what EXACTLY happened with the ex-polish section of TRSI. Norby seems to be still in TRSI Amiga.. is that true??? (Did Lazur nearby leave for Great Britain? Heard he wanted to start a new career as professional graphician at a british software house?)
Uyanik: why ex-polish section? Norby is and will ever be in Trsi - he is a lifetime member....he made a shrink out and reduced a lot of pseudo Trsi guys there.. sometimes it is a bit a problem as Poland is not Germany/Austria..but Norby = Norby/Trsi...Lazur is not in England yet as far as I know...he is really a kicking graphician....as it looks like Norby is the only one in Poland actually....
Ghandy: Would you like to add anything? Or greet some close friends?
