Timbaland responds to the controversy…
Well, it’s been a while - but Timbaland was confronted by a radio station about the claims that he stole music from Tempest. There is very extensive coverage on pelulamu.net here.

By all means it seems that legal proceedings are going ahead, but Timbaland is pretty ambiguous about that process and doesn’t seem to approach the incident with any level of reasonable courtesy - and he also has a very loose concept of artist rights, preferring to brag about his own status as opposed to dealing with the issue professionally.
I only hope this situation can be resolved professionally and respectfully.
